Official Sources
The public sources ScratchRank uses to build and verify Maine scratch-ticket data.
Maine Lottery data
ScratchRank prioritizes official Maine Lottery data whenever possible. Source URLs, update frequency, and source status are stored alongside the collected data so the site can preserve provenance over time.
| Source | Type | Official | Update Frequency | Status |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Maine Game End Dates | game_lifecycle | Yes | daily | Active |
| Maine Scratch Ticket Detail Pages | game_details | Yes | daily | Active |
| Maine Unclaimed Prizes | unclaimed_prizes | Yes | daily | Active |
What these sources provide
Unclaimed prizes: current game listings, ticket price, percent unsold, total unclaimed value, and selected outstanding prize levels.
Game detail pages: game name, game number, ticket image, maximum award, original top-prize odds, overall odds, launch date, and tickets printed when Maine publishes them.
Game end dates: official game end dates and last claim dates, including historical games.
Data preservation
ScratchRank stores historical snapshots rather than replacing old values. Ticket images are also archived so historical game pages can remain useful after a source page or image is removed from the Maine Lottery website.
Missing information
ScratchRank does not invent unavailable values. If an official source does not publish a field, the site may display it as unavailable until a reliable source is found.
